Program Overview
The Internship program offers international participants who have been educated in their desired occupational field outside the United States an exciting opportunity to gain experience interning with a company in the U.S.
The program bridges the participant’s course of study to their career development objectives. Participants gain practical knowledge in their specialized fields, while American staff gain International cultural and business awareness. Participants do not only gain valuable insight into American business methods, they immerse themselves into American society and culture.

The Intern Position
An Intern must be a foreign national who is currently enrolled full-time in a foreign accredited degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution outside the U.S. —OR— the Intern has graduated from such an institution no more than 12 months prior to the intern program start date. Participants must have proficient-to-fluent English skills.
Program dates vary depending on the individual participant, with a maximum duration of 12 months.
The Trainee Position
A Trainee must be a foreign national who has a degree or professional certificate from a foreign accredited degree- or certificate-granting post-secondary academic institution and have at least one year of prior related work experience in his or her occupational field acquired outside the U.S. —OR— the Trainee has five years’ work experience in his or her occupational field acquired outside the U.S. Participants must have proficient to fluent English skills. Program dates vary depending on the individual participant, but must be at least three weeks with a maximum duration of 18 months.

Placement Locations:
Positions are available throughout the USA.

The Program includes:
- Program sponsorship for the J-1 Intern or Trainee visa.

- Skype web interview with Program Sponsor and host organization (when applicable)

- 24-hour support from Program Sponsor while in the U.S.
The Program does NOT include:
- Visa fees.
- Housing Fees.
- International airfare
- Domestic Transportation in the US
- Airport Transfers
- Public transportation to/from work
- Any daily living expenses including rent, utilities, furnishings, meals etc.
- $2000 Personal Spending Funds
